Middle School Sunday School
The youth program at Grace has a long and proud history. The cornerstone is United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF) meeting on Sunday nights with wide variety of activities.
MIDDLE SCHOOL (6th, 7th, and 8th grades) – Meets in Room 208 of the Education Wing and is led by Bob Dean, Todd Witke, and Shelby Chavez.
HIGH SCHOOL (9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades) – Meets in Room A3 of the Main Building which is across from the Activity Center. The class is led by Deb Miller, Patty Link, and Marcia Keyser.
7th Graders also take part in Confirmation where mentors show them the way of the faith.
For over 40 years the youth of Grace have putting on a night of theater and fine dining. This year’s play is E/R Emergency Room: A Play. We are in the midst of rehearsals for Dinner Drama and that means we are in search of props. Please take a look at the props list and let Coreen Witke (515.255.6400 ext. 230 or firstname.lastname@example.org) know if you can provide any of the props.
Annually the youth of Grace travel on a mission work trip. This year’s trip will take them to Montana and the Blackfeet Native American Reservation. Some of the place they have gone in the past are South Dakota, Detroit and Hawaii.
Rehearsals are on Sunday at 4 pm.
